Our Programs

Global Primary Care provides improved access to primary care in Lesotho through low-overhead projects at hospitals and clinics, often involving community health workers. Better access to health services for people stuck in a cycle of poverty and HIV is integral to positive change in the country.

Global Primary Care is focused on five programs, all in Lesotho, a small country in South Africa.

  • Access to Primary Care - We support a well-regarded hospital in rural Lesotho called Maluti Adventist Hostpital.
  • Laboratory Facilities - We purchase HIV-related laboratory equipment to assist with the treatment of HIV and AIDS.
  • Literacy in Healthcare Settings - We provide children’s books in healthcare settings through the country to foster literacy.
  • HIV and Orphans - We provide school tuition and other basic needs to orphaned children.
  • Community Health Workers - We are building a team of committed health workers in rural Lesotho to combat the spread of HIV and to provide better access to care for those already infected.
  • Other HIV efforts - We provide nutrition, and other basic needs to those infected with HIV.
